S/S15 Wardrobe Update ft. H&M

S/S 15 Wardrobe Update
July is here and well on the way. The sun is out and shining and to be honest I am loving the summer in London. Not only me but my wardrobe really seems to be making the most of it too.
But to me July means more than being in the middle of summer. It is the month when retail stores have a mid season sale (one which I always tend to make the most of because why not?!). I love sale shopping for the seasons to come (rather than the season we’re in). I always find that this is an extremely student friendly way to purchase pieces. Naturally a jumper is going to cost you way less in summer than in winter right?.
However, this time I have my eyes set on transitional pieces for the transition of Summer to Autumn. Transitional pieces are basically pieces which never really fall out of fashion nor season as they’re the ‘safety area’ within any wardrobe. For my transitional pieces this year, I really want to get my hands on a few coloured block heels. They’re a great vintage looking piece and add quite a statement to a bland outfit. I also want to get my hands on a few loose tops/blouses. I feel these are the perfect piece for something with a feminine feel (yet can be quite edgy depending on the type you go for). Lastly I absolutely love back packs. In fact they’re definitely my favourite type of bag. Therefore I really want to add a few new pieces to my current collection. The bigger the better!
The pieces above are the current stock in H&M that I believe would make for a perfect S/S15 wardrobe update (and of course would also make for wonderful transitional pieces). The items range from £3.99 to £29.99 and the average outfit is £50.00 (including the top – bottom – shoes). If you’re starting University/College in the Autumn season, then these would also make for a perfect start of your lecture wardrobe (as the outfits are affordable, effortless and look absolutely wonderful).
Until the next time guys!
